Wow! Time goes by so fast. BookFest 2025 was a great success! The workshops were fantastic and the Saturday "Conversation with ..." format was an overwhelming success. Six authors had individual, intimate, sessions with a limited number of participants. The authors loved the chance to really talk with people and the participants felt they had a chance to get to know the author, their writing process and their future directions.

Our featured author, Karen White, entertained the audience with stories about her life and her writing journey. She was funny, sincere and endearing. Loved every minute. She shared her new passion for powerpoint slide presentations! it was fabulous and fun. Thank you, Karen, for a great experience.

The Carrollton Writers Guild Inc supports a diverse group of individuals of all ages and a wide range of interests in writing. Among our group are poets and writers of modern westerns, thrillers, fantasy, and memoir. We embrace all levels of ability, and our goal is to encourage growth in all our members.
